I own four of these I was blessed to find three on a clearance price. These chest protectors are fantastic, they are lightweight, not cumbersome, they are warm in low temperatures but can be too warm in the summer. They do job of protecting your body as intended. It is a padded spandex t-shirt. The instructions for cleaning tells you to remove the pads if you plan to dry the shirt in the dryer never dry the pads in the dryer the heat will damage them,”DRY ONLY THE SHIRT ON LOW TEMPERATURE”. You can wash the whole shirt with pads but I recommend AIR DRYING for that method, it will last longer when you air dry. I love this chest protector it is easier to store in my equipment bag. Plus it is easier to rotate if you have more than one. My spouse and I share the protestors she loves it as well.
