Warm weather tapered pants

The pant material is just as heavy as any others. I was expecting more of a dry fit material like the Under Armour pants i have.The tapered doesnt come into play when the pants are long and have to be hemmed. I expected a thinner cut pants through the seat and thighs but nope they are very full.
